Stalker Shoe

I'm drawing about 4 pages of comics a week right now which for me, is excellent going timewise. This is a recent one page strip i did. Also i've overhauled lorhurk.com and now you can read some comics on screen that previously had only been readable on paper. That's it.
Does (did) anyone still (ever) read this blog? I'm not sure if it's worth continuing posting stuff on here, though saying that, i rarely do these days anyway.  Infact it was meant to be a working record for myself in the first place- it's not like i'm running a TV channel or anything!!

WorkBurger

The postie stopped off on his way to the bookies to deliver me this the other day: The new WORKBURGER book (Stripburger #59&60).
I'm chuffed to bits* to have a 3 page story inside -'The Invincible Iron Manager' and by coincidence, the other 3 UK strips featured are all by Comix Reader contributors too: Alex Potts, Paul Ashley-Brown and Paul O'Connell/ Lawrence Elwick. Stripburger can be hard to find in the UK but its well worth having a peep at if you get the chance. Word.

*how come there are  hundreds of new slang words for good, bad, ugly and pretty but no new phrase to replace 'chuffed to bits'? Or is there?? I need a new one, and not 'pleased as punch'.

Happy new...yeah!?!
About 3 or 4 years ago i made a little 'Minder' Comic, i just dug up the original pages and decided to do a small 2nd printrun with all new cover(left).  There's nothing i don't love about the show-  writing, dialogue, characters, actors, locations, theme song, credits. Nothing i don't love. I challenge anybody to find something bad about it! (up until Terry McCann left, i mean).Issues of 'Minder' can be purchased from all bookstores* worldwide** from Monday.

On a Telly-Comics related note- The  Forbidden Planet Blog is featuring strips from me and Paul O'Connell's forthcoming (at Last) 'Look Out!' project, on the 1st of every month.
"Look out- it's LOOK OUT!" this month featured Krent's Banana Splits poster, Paul's 'Jamie and the magic Torch' (!) and my version of  'Magnum'.

*that sell comics
**as long as i can walk there
